Carina is one of the most popular boats in the Maldives, with countless repeat bookings and so far, it is the only boat with ENOS-diver-location security equipment installed on board. During a stay on Carina, divers will enjoy all the highlights of a Maldives diving adventure, with expertise from some of the most qualified dive instructors and divemasters in the world.
For inexperienced divers, PADI Certifications are offered on board, although all divers must have a minimum of the Open Water Certificate, in order to dive. Experienced divers and students enjoy up to three dives a day throughout the adventure, including one night dive per week. If you need to rent scuba equipment, please organize this ahead of time.
Divers aboard Carina will be shown the highlights of the Maldivian dive spots. Due to climatic changes according to the season, these highlights are always different and routes are never the same. A detailed briefing is given before all dives.
Three buffet-style meals are served each day, showcasing the best of Asian cuisine and Maldivian specialties. Afternoon snacks are also offered. Unlimited alcohol-free beverages are included in the price of the trip. A full bar on board serves reasonably priced wine, beer and spirits.
Dives are taken from the Dhoni, a separate, fully-equipped dive boat that accompanies Carina. Equipment is also stored at all times in the Dhoni, to avoid having to carry it between the boats. All emergency first aid supplies are available on the Dhoni, including diver’s medical oxygen.
